VizSense Announces NAB Show Panel on Online Data and Insights

VIzSense is thrilled to announce that they’ll be presenting a panel discussion featuring four of Hollywood’s most respected film industry veterans as part of a panel featured at the 2016 National Association of Broadcasters Show on April 19, 2016 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The panel discussion, Uncovering the Social Intelligence of Film, will take place from 1:15 p.m. – 2:10 p.m. PST in the SPROCKIT Pavillion. The panel, moderated by Founder and CEO of VizSense, Jon Iadonisi, will feature the following panelists:

  • Billie Greif, Director of Development at Incorporated Productions
  • Roger Goff, Partner at Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin, LLP
  • Benjamin Friedberg, Partner and Executive Producer at YayBig Productions
  • Blake Boyd, Actor/Producer

The panel will illustrate the critical role of online data and insights it provides to the funding, creation and distribution of films. Talented and diverse experts from production, distribution and film financing disciplines will discuss their experiences and perspectives around social, perceptual and transactional data and its growing importance in the industry.

PANELIST: Billie Greif

Director of Development

Incorporated Productions

Billie Greif has led a prolific and successful career in all aspects of the entertainment industry, including digital media, film and music. She began with a thriving career working with Sony Music, where she provided services for major artists, including Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez. Since leaving Sony, she's focused her many talents on the production of feature films. After mastering the studio distribution model, Billie developed unique strategies for maximizing marketing effectiveness for feature films.  Some of her film productions include: Smoke Signals,  Lenny The Wonder Dog, Thank You For Smoking, and Gospel Hill. One of her strategic goals is to effectively change the way films are distributed through the use of the most advanced technologies. Billie Greif is presently the Director of Development at Incorporated Productions, and continues to bring new and exciting strategies and relationships, to grow and expand the brand, to new areas of the entertainment space.

PANELIST: Roger Goff

Partner

Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin, LLP

Roger is a legal counselor, business advisor, and deal maker for privately held entertainment companies, where he regularly represents both producers and financiers in a variety of film finance transactions. He is consistently involved in the development and production of dozens of feature films including Dallas Buyers Club and Splinter, in addition to arranging financing and distribution. Prior to becoming an attorney, Roger worked in radio and television broadcasting, commercial production, advertising and as a studio musician. He holds an FCC license as a broadcast engineer and graduated from the studio guitarists program at Musicians Institute. Roger is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Film and Television at Loyola Marymount University, where he teaches Business and Legal Affairs.

PANELIST: Benjamin Friedberg

Partner and Executive Producer

YayBig Productions

Benjamin Friedberg is a partner and executive producer at YayBig Productions, a Los Angeles based creative and production services company, and a producer at Radar Pictures. YayBig's next film is the feature People You May Know directed by Sherwin Shilati, for which Ben served as YayBig's production executive. Other notable films include Speak Now, This is Happening, Kickboxer:Vengence, and People You May Know.

PANELIST: Blake Boyd

Actor/Producer

Blake Boyd is a Los Angeles-based actor who has worked in over 40 theatre, television and film productions over the past 30 years. A BBA graduate from SMU, Blake understands the value of business and social analytics in the entertainment industry. From the Philippine jungles to the SoCal studios to the New York stage, he has experienced firsthand the evolution of Hollywood into the digital era.

MODERATOR: Jon Iadonisi

Jon Iadonisi is a former Navy SEAL, cyber security expert and Founder of White Canvas Group a cyber services and solutions company servicing Fortune 500 companies, Special Operations Forces, and the Central Intelligence Agency. An active founder, Jon incubated various technologies companies including his latest venture VizSense. VizSense is re-defining the way advertisers, brands, and world class talent understand and identify influencer networks. Their specialized influencer tradecraft and insight services provides customers an unfair advantage they can use to better monetize their bottom line. Mr. Iadonisi holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the US Naval Academy, M.S. in Homeland Security from San Diego State University and is currently a PhD student at the University of New Haven, focusing on cyber crime. He is a frequent contributor and speaker to nationally syndicated radio, television and media outlets and conferences.
